Listen to Clayton Kershaw's start tonight

For those of you that like to follow what is going on down on the farm, here's an interesting link for y'all. Minorleaguebaseball.com lets you listen to all sorts of games free of charge. By registering your email and a password, you're locked in.

Tonight, Clayton Kershaw, the Dodgers' blue chip prospect, will take the ball for the Double-A Jacksonville Suns. Now here's the interesting part - his opponent will be Jeff Samardzija, the former standout wide receiver for Notre Dame. That's a pretty good matchup.

Gametime is at 7:15 ET.

Great find. Thanks.

Clayton's a great prospect, but Samardjza might be a little bit better at this point. Mr. Kershaw got shown up a little bit against Samardjza.

Yes, like I just said in my latest post, this is a look into the future. Us Dodger fans know how good Kershaw is, but it seems like Samardzija is getting better each year. Talk about a great athlete!

Clayton Kershaw yielded two runs in five innings and struck out eight Thursday for Double-A Jacksonville. He ended up with the loss, as Cubs prospect Jeff Samardzija had perhaps the best start of his pro career (0 R in 7 IP) for Tennessee. Kershaw allowed seven hits and walked two. He's given up three earned runs in eight innings over his two starts.

Thanks Rotoworld.
